Ciena Alagao

Ciena Alagao is a local Realtor® with Team Wong Hawai‘i, helping people buy and sell homes across Oʻahu, with a focus on new construction, downsizing homeowners, and local buyers ready for their next move.

Born and raised on the west side of Oʻahu, Ciena is passionate about helping local families build a future here. She believes knowledge is power, and her goal is to help clients feel informed, supported, and confident, so they can make the best decision for their life without feeling overwhelmed. She is known for offering calm guidance and a clear plan throughout the process.

Why She Got Into Real Estate

Ciena got into real estate because she wanted to keep living here at home and help others do the same too. She believes homeownership in Hawaiʻi is possible with the right guidance, the right strategy, and the right support. As an Oahu real estate agent, her goal is to help clients understand their options and move forward in a way that makes sense for them.

What Clients Can Expect

Clients often describe Ciena as calm, responsive, and easy to work with. She is organized, people-first, and stays on top of the details throughout the entire journey.

Ciena communicates in whatever way works best for each client, whether that’s text, phone, or email. Behind the scenes, she makes sure everything stays on track with timelines, deadlines, and the many moving parts that come with a real estate transaction. Whether clients need help with inspections, repairs, cleaning, or getting a home ready for the market, she helps make the process feel smooth, well-planned, and supported.

As the eldest daughter, Ciena is naturally a planner, so she always has a plan (and a couple backup plans too).

What Makes Her a Strong Fit for West Oʻahu and Central Oʻahu Buyers and Sellers

Ciena has lived in both West Oʻahu and Central Oʻahu, which gives her a strong understanding of the local market and neighborhood lifestyles. She stays up to date on Oʻahu market trends and local neighborhood changes too.

She serves clients across Honolulu County, including Pearl City, Kapolei, Waipahu, Waipiʻo, Waikele, Mililani, Honolulu, Kakaʻako, Ward Village, as well as popular communities like Hoʻopili and Koa Ridge.

Specialties and Property Types

Ciena works with condos, townhomes, single-family homes, and new construction. She is experienced in new construction communities and new build homes on Oʻahu, helping buyers understand build timelines, upgrades, and how new construction contracts differ from resale homes, so expectations are clear from the start. She is also familiar with HOA and maintenance-fee communities, and helps clients understand what those costs mean long-term, not just on paper.

She also specializes in helping downsizing homeowners simplify the process and transition into their next chapter with a clear plan. She has assisted longtime homeowners with coordinating trusted vendors for needed repairs, updates, and home preparation before selling. From deciding what improvements are worth doing to staying on top of timelines and next steps, she helps make the process feel organized, manageable, and low-stress.

An Insider Look at Kapolei

Known fondly as O`ahu’s “second city”, Kapōlei is a growing urban hub nestled along the west side of the island. In the early evening, Kapōlei is the last place on the island to see the sun before it dips into the ocean, welcoming the night. The name Kapōlei, meaning beloved Kapō, is a reference to the Hawaiian goddess, Kapō-`ula-kina`u. Kapō in Hawaiian means “the darkness”, an important, undeniable force in the natural world. In Hawaiian legend, pō, night, is the realm of gods and spirits, while ao, day, is the realm of mortals.
